A trip doesn't have to exist yet.

Most planning tools ask you to commit before you've thought. Travels-with starts the other way around: open a conversation with Nico, describe a dream — five days, two kids, somewhere warm — and watch a proposal take shape.

Nothing hits a trip until you say yes. The proposal sits in the conversation. You refine it, push back, ask for alternatives. When it feels right, one tap turns the conversation into a real trip you can invite the crew to.

You get to decide how much the agents do on their own. Cautious mode asks before every change. Balanced — the default — proposes and waits. Autonomous mode lets the crew run with the low-stakes calls and only ask when it matters.

The setting belongs to the trip, not the platform. A weekend getaway and a three-month sabbatical aren't the same kind of project — and the crew shouldn't pretend they are.
