By accessing or using travels with (“the Service”), operated at travels-with.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
travels with is a collaborative trip planning and documentation platform. Users can create trips, invite co-travellers, plan itineraries, track travel progress, receive AI-assisted recommendations, and document their journeys with text and photos.
You must register an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through the Service, including trip data, journal entries, photos, and messages. By uploading content, you grant travels with a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your invited co-travellers. You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringes on third-party rights, or contains malware or harmful material.
The Service uses AI assistants (the “Travel Support Crew”) to provide trip planning suggestions, booking information extraction, and travel recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying all booking details, travel logistics, and recommendations before acting on them. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content.
The Service may provide you with an email address at travels-with.app for receiving travel-related communications. Emails received at this address are stored and may be automatically processed by AI assistants to extract booking information. You are responsible for what emails you forward to this address. The Service is not an email provider and does not guarantee email delivery or availability.
Your trips are private by default. Only users you explicitly invite can see your trip data. Location data shared during active trips is visible only to trip members. We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data • Upload malicious content, spam, or automated bulk messages • Abuse the AI assistants by sending excessive requests or attempting prompt injection • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without permission • Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Munich, Germany.
