We collect only the data necessary to provide the Service: your name, email address, trip data you create, photos you upload, and location data you choose to share during active trips.
Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Trip data is shared only with users you explicitly invite.
The Travel Support Crew (AI assistants) processes your trip data and forwarded emails to provide planning suggestions and extract booking information. This processing happens on our servers. AI-generated content is not shared externally.
Location sharing is opt-in and only active during trips you explicitly start. GPS positions are stored for the duration of the trip and visible only to trip members. You can stop sharing at any time.
If you use your @travels-with.app email address, incoming emails are stored and processed to extract travel booking information. Emails are visible only to you. We do not read or share your email content with other users.
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data at rest.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data including trips, photos, journal entries, and email messages will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@travels-with.app.
We use a single authentication cookie (tw-token) to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
